Added Retroactive Event Group back onto element but it is not working when I run the Retro process?

Our consultant removed the Retroactive Event Group from pretax deduction elements and we are trying to get the elements back to seeded processing but when we add back the retro event group and then run the retro process it is not picking up the retros even though the retro process sees them as Awaiting Processing and after the process it states they are complete but no element entries for those retros is getting generated. What are we missing to get the element entries to generated from the retro process run?
