Inactive jobs are also visible in Proposed jobs in Compensation worksheet

While promoting employees during the Annual Compensation Cycle, we noticed that inactive jobs are also appearing in the drop-down list under the "Proposed Jobs" column.

Has anyone encountered this issue before and identified a potential solution to minimize the chances of errors? Your insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
