CMK how to identify tns fieldname

Summary:

We are using CMK for sending invoices. We were using the default item description, which is outputting in English, however we have customers require now that we swap that to the customer language translated description.

How can we find the correct tns field identifier to be able to pull the default value from the item translations table?
