How to handle Validation Organization for Customer Assets for two separate Master/Item Organizations

We have two separate Master/Item Organizations, each one has its related Maintenance Organizations secured and controlled by different parties. Based on the "Validation Organization for Customer Assets" in the "Manage Asset Maintenance Parameters" can carry only one value, we need to know how to handle the "Validation Organization for Customer Assets" for both Organizations. The implementation guide mentions:
