💡 How to prevent creator of the journal to approve his own journal

Summary:

💡Do you know how to prevent creator of the journal to approve his own journal?

Content:

This can be achieved by using the "Prohibit Self-Approval" setup.

Oracle Documentation details:

https://docs.oracle.com/en/cloud/saas/financials/24c/fafcf/prevent-assigning-approvals-to-specific-users.html

By including in "Prohibit Self-Approval" only the condition "/task:task/task:creator" - this will restrict only the self-approval of the journal by the employee which is routing/submitting the journal for approval.

📌Sample payload attributes:

$Task/task:task/task:payload/task:requestor → this can be used for requestor of the approval;

$Task/task:task/task:payload/ns9:person/ns9:UserGuid

Howdy, Stranger!
