I can execute work orders in mfg, though the asset resource instance has open mnt work order

Summary:

Hi experts,

A) I have an asset A1 which is linked to a work center.

B) There is a resource in manufacturing R1 whose instance is linked to asset A1.

C) I have an open preventive maintenance work order for asset A1

D) Also, I have a manufacturing work order for producing X1 using R1 (Resource)-A1( resource instance).

I was expecting that the system would stop me from completing X1 since I already have a maintenance work order open for A1. But that did not happen.

I could execute X1 successfully. Is it the expected behavior?
