how to exclude some legal entities within same ledger from intercompany balancing rules

Would like to ask for all your help to see if there's a way to exclude some LEs from intercompany balancing rules, here are the scenario:

Eg there are A,B,C three companies are within same primary ledger. B and C are considered as internal and they will initiate their transactions within intercompany modules. A will be treated as an external party and thus any AR & AP transaction between A and the rest, they wish the account code to be normal AR & AP trade account, and also intercom segment should hit to default value.
