Unable to Update Emergency Contact Flag for Spouse in Family and Emergency Contact

Summary:

We have encountered an issue where employees in our organization are unable to update Emergency Contact Flag in Family and Emergency Contact information .

This error is linked to an AutoComplete Rule we created, and the problem specifically occurs when the employee's Spouse also works within the same organization.

Requirement: When an employee attempts to update their Emergency Contact Flag in Family and Emergency Contact information, the system throws an error even after correctly providing the National Identifier details.

The issue is isolated to scenarios where the employee and their spouse both work in the same organization.

For all other cases, the updates work as expected. The AutoComplete Rule currently validates National Identifiers but fails for this specific relationship scenario. We want to allow employees and their spouses (who are both employed by the organization) to update their National Identifier details without encountering errors.
