When we switch on Connections in redwood, we are missing the skills and qualifications page?

Summary:

We are trying to use the redwood connections page, but it wont let us edit anything and we cannot see the skills and qualifications section, we realise thats the reason we cant edit anything else but we cant see how we can switch on the skills and qualifications section to show in the connections page. Does anyone have any ideas on where to go to enable that page?

We do have quite a few customisations around that area so we think that could be the issue but would like to know if we are missing anything else before we look at those customisations
