unable to default the line type as "Buy" when new line is created

Hello,

We are unable to default the line type as "Buy" in the sales order when a new line is created and it should be updatable by user before saving the transaction.

We used groovy script and page composer but we are able to default the line type to "Buy" after saving or submitting the sales order.

Could you please do the needful for this solution?
