How can I delete a cash expense item from the Advanced Search workspace?

Summary:

We recently had a large group of users receive a global transfer from HR which caused all their available expense items and expense reports to be archived in the Advanced Search workspace. We have users who need to delete cash expense items however their is no option to do that from the Advanced Search workspace. Please advise on how we can remove these cash expense items.

If the Search dropdown is changed to 'Expense Reports' and 'Action' dropdown appears and allows the user to delete eligable expense reports. However, there is not an 'Action' menu for Cash Expense Items and no option to delete.
