equipment cannot be moved to a new meter

Summary:

We have configured OFS as per the documentation. Exchange Meter We have also configured Custom Activities Support for Move Equipment to New Meter. When we perform the action of Move Equipment to New Meter, we get an error with red banner stating following

equipment cannot be moved to a new meter. A number of registers on new meter does not match to a number of registers in existing meter

We are using OOTB Accelerator. Have anyone encountered the similar error in the past? how did you resolve this error ?
