Rest API vs FBDI to create/ update/ cancel multiple Sales Order Lines

What is the best approach for handling the create, update, and cancel operations for sales order lines after the deprecation of the Stage Order Operation of the Import Sales Orders Service in 24D?

Context:

• We are currently using the Stage Order Operation of the Import Sales Orders Service for these operations.
• After its deprecation, we are evaluating two options:
  1. REST API
  2. FBDI (File-Based Data Import) with the profile option fom-import-via-rest-backend enabled.

Additional details:

• We need to update partial lines in a sales order.
• The volume of order updates ranges from a single order line to hundreds of order lines in one instance.
