Unable to Update background check results for a candidate application through

When the comments are "Adverse Action Sent," from background verification partner, we would like to change the status from "Completed" to "Completed-Fail" and add a red checkmark to the background check result. This is how we would like to update the background results that we receive from our background verification partner, Sterlling.
However, we were unable to locate a business object to update the data using HDL. Could you kindly advise us on a better course of action?
