TODATE: Time Series calculation

Hi,
I am creating report where the requirement is to get ITD Budgted cost. When I am adding this column using Project Performance Real Time Information Subject area. It is giving the total budget cost of project. But my requirement is for only Current date or Current Month.

For This, I am using the TODATE Time series calculation function. But I am getting errors.

TODATE("- ITD Budget Measures"."ITD Budget Cost", year)

But it is getting the error. Please help me figure out how I can achieve this.
