Effective Start Date Not Defaults in Redwood Jobs Page

edited Jan 13, 2025 9:37AM in Human Capital Management 1 comment

Summary:

We enabled the Jobs Redwood page in our non-production environment, and while comparing RUI with Redwood, we noticed the following differences regarding the effective date field:

  1. In RUI, when creating a job, the effective date field defaults to the current date (today's date), but in Redwood, it does not default.
  2. In RUI, when updating a job, the effective date field also defaults to the current date, whereas in Redwood, it does not.
  3. In Redwood, when duplicating a job, the effective date does not default to the current date same as RUI.

Can anyone explain why this difference in behavior exists in Redwood? Is there something we need to change in Redwood to match the behavior in RUI?

Howdy, Stranger!
