Table Based Value Set in DFF is giving different value in External and Internal Career Site

Summary:

We have created a DFF with a Table-Based Value Set to fetch some values on Internal and External Career Sites.

This Value Set picks the correct data on the External Career Site but gives only the term "Description" on the Internal Career Site.

Oracle Support Team is only suggesting creating the Value Set As Independent but it will not suffice our need, we have to fetch value based on a Table. hence, need a solution here from our Community.

Please suggest how can we eliminate character/value discrepancies on the External and Internal Career sites where DFF is using Table-based Value Set.
