Will custom responsive self service roles be replaced by out of the box roles

To implement responsive self service procurement before it's mandated, we created custom roles to give to users for access. Will these roles be replaced by the out of the box roles when it's mandated (September 2025)? Would we just deactivate the custom roles and the ootb Procurement Requester and Procurement Preparer roles will have the privileges required for access to responsive self service?
