How to add announcement as text in a box in Newsfeed layout

Ourprocurement application is moving to Newsfeed layout from Banner Layout. In banner layout we display the announcement containing static information and user links. In Newsfeed layout there is no option for this. It converts the Announcements into a hyperlink that needs to be clicked to view the complete information. How to get the information as text in a box instead of a link?

The first screenshot shows how it is displaying announcements as we make changes to move to Newsfeed layout. The second screenshot if srom a different Oracle application in our organization.
