Order Management - Order Type - processing constraint to prevent order type update

When creating Sales Order we use the Order Type to drive custom orchestration flows and process assignment rules. Given this design we need to stop users revising the sales order and changing the Order Type and then re-submitting. Is there any way to use a personalisation or a processing contraint to prevent the user changing the Order Type by making the field Order Type 'read only' if users create revisions on the sales order?
