Intercompany Transaction Transfer to Payables

Intercompany transaction created and approved. Transfer to receivables was successful and created receivables invoices. Transfer to payables failed due to invalid liability account.

We have created an intercompany transaction and transferred the intercompany batch to payables and receivables. Transfer to Receivables was successful and receivable invoice was created. However, transfer to payables job was successful but payables invoice import failed. The invoice import errors state that it failed due to “Invalid liability account”.

 

Following are our steps to fix the error.

1. Updated the account as Liability account by: Manage Chart of Accounts Value Set Values --> Value Set Code: chose our account set --> Manage Values --> update the account type to Liability
