Using descendants in Reports zero suppression is not working

edited Jan 31, 2025 10:18PM in Financial Consolidation and Close 3 comments

Summary:

We have migrated reports from Fin Reports to Reports. We are using Descendants in many rows and have zero suppression turned on (i.e. zero suppression appears as True in Reports). The zero suppression did migrate over, however, the accounts with $0 now appear when the report runs. I have tried to toggle a few things and tried to add a line in advanced suppression, but the $0 account rows still appear in the report. They did not appear in Fin Reports.

Does anyone have experience with this?

Ok, it appears that I figured this out.

It must be that Reports is not reading the zeros.  We have to go into each row, once migrated, and change the conditional property, scaled/rounded value to True, on each row that is zero suppressed. Then the zero suppression will work. If someone knows another way. Please let me know.

Howdy, Stranger!
