Reorganization in Recruitment

We need the ability to update the org structure on the requisition at any time in the recruiting lifecycle.  Currently, updating org requires the req be placed on hold, and requisitions cannot be placed on hold once a candidate has begun the offer process.

Our business undergoes frequent reorganizations, which affect open requisitions. When new organizations are created, we have to manually update the requisition with the new org structure.  If no candidate has yet reached the offer process, we are usually able to place the req on hold, update the org, and then reactivate the requisition with minimal impact.  Unfortunately if a candidate has reached the offer process, it is a complicated process to back the candidate out of offer, place the req on hold, update the org structure, reactivate the req, and then recreate the offer and move the candidated forward.  This is
