Workaround for Dynamically Creating Ship-To Address in Sales Orders for Order Hub REST API (25D)

Summary:

We currently use the OrderImportService SOAP Webservice to create orders, passing the attribute CreateCustomerInformationFlag as true in the payload. This dynamically creates the ship-to address as party sites, which is critical for our business process. Our engineers rely on this functionality when entering customer orders in real-time while visiting customers.

With the 25D release, the OrderImportService SOAP Webservice is being deprecated, and Oracle recommends using the Sales Orders for Order Hub REST API instead. However, the CreateCustomerInformationFlag attribute is not available in the REST API.

What is the suggested workaround to dynamically create ship-to addresses while processing orders in real-time using the REST API?
