We use BIP bursting to generate BIP reports to SFTP server for OIC to consume. I see some teams have an affinity to use SOAP APIs. I feel API is useful when we need data on the fly or download report from Fusion. Is there any other reason why would integration teams stick to API to download the report in a scheduled service as APIs dont work well if the report is large and can lead to timeouts.
