Instance Disabled for 'DDoS Attacks' Despite No Unusual Network Activity in Logs

Summary:

Instance disabled due to "DDoS attacks" despite no unusual network activity in the last 24 hours.

Content (please ensure you mask any confidential information):

Hey,
My instance was recently disabled by Oracle due to potential "DDoS attacks." However, when I reviewed the instance statistics for the last 24 hours, I didn’t notice any unusual or excessive network activity that would indicate a DDoS attack.

Here’s what I’ve checked so far:

  • Network traffic logs show normal usage patterns.
  • No spikes in bandwidth or connection requests.
  • No suspicious IPs or unusual requests in the access logs.

This is a false positive, in my opinion. Im looking forward to unlock my machine, and start my always free instance.

Howdy, Stranger!
