How 'Reply-to Email' works in Receivables

I would like to know how 'Reply-to Email' works in AR. If 'From Email' and 'Reply-to Email' are different, how customer would know which email to use to reply. Value of 'Reply-to email' is not part of mail that is sent to customer say AR invoice print or Customer Statement.
