How to best suppress base entity detail when ownership changes in reports?

Not suppressing the detail results in double counting the base entity detail when reviewing descendants of the total Entity hierarchy even when the ownership has moved from one parent to another within the hierarchy. For example, when base entity ABC is 100% owned by Parent ABC in January 24 and then base entity ABC is moved to Parent DEF in February 24 (resulting in 0% ownership for Parent ABC and 100% ownership for parent DEF). The issue is when reviewing the report at a Q1 24 period detail, we are seeing that base entity contributing to both Parent
