Does a 2-Node OCI DB system support custom DNS(on -premise) domain during provisioning?

Hello Team,

I am facing an issue while trying to create a 2-Node DB system (DBCS) using an on-premise custom DNS. However, within the same subnet (configured with custom DNS via DHCP options), I am able to successfully create a single-node DBCS.

Error Message for 2-Node DBCS:

Invalid Parameter - VCN RESOLVER FOR DNS AND DNS LABEL must be enabled for all subnets used to launch the specified shape.

I came across the following documentation that suggests:

DB System Type

Supported DNS Choices

Endpoints to Be Resolved

Single-node virtual machine

  • Recommended: Default (Internet and VCN resolver)
  • Custom DNS resolver of your choice

Howdy, Stranger!
