Unable to add few Customer Items to Sales Order

We have defined customer items. There is an issue while creating sales orders for few customer items. These item ends with 'REV. A'. If we enter complete customer item, then there is no result. But, if we remove ' A' from the customer item, then we can add it in sales order. There is no such issue for the items which ends with 'REV. C'.
