    • Need View Cumulative Mileage Functionality Clarification

    Summary:

    The Oracle documentation is not really clear regarding the cumulative mileage calculations and the view cumulative mileage functionality that employees have. The following note "Cumulative Mileage in Fusion Expenses" (KB111131) only mentions uploading the cumulative mileage but does not explain how the mileage is determined. There is an additional note (KB2647) that talks about enabling the expense policy to be determined by period for cumulative mileage to be enabled.

    Does anyone know: If the user enters a mileage claim and the mileage policy is checked to be "by period" will they be able to afterwards see their accumulated mileage in the view Cumulative Mileage screen after the expense claim gets paid? Or will the view Cumulative Mileage screen only show mileage that has been uploaded for the user via the Manage Cumulative Mileage Determinants setup task?
