ODA looking for middle name

When looking for my direct report's salary, I enter the Last Name, First Name as this is what is shown on the direct reports record. However if the direct report has a middle name, the DA is also looking for that. E.g. if John Smith had a middle name I'd need to search for Smith, A, John in order to find his salary details.

How can we change this so it only looks for First and Last Name?
