Question About Bounceback Handling in Insights vs. Bulk API

I’ve noticed some inconsistencies in how bouncebacks are reported between Insights and the Bulk API. Specifically:
When there’s a Hard Bounceback (Insight), the email is marked as not delivered (Delivered = 0), but in some cases, an Email Open is still tracked—which seems odd.
The Soft Bounce count differs between Insights and the API, with the API sometimes showing multiple soft bounces while Insights only logs one.
I’ve attached a screenshot of a dataset highlighting these cases. Could you help clarify:
- How does Eloqua Insights handle "Delivered" when a hard bounce occurs
- Why would an email show as not delivered but still have an open recorded?
