How to Set Up a Sub-Inventory Which is Particular to a Sales Order (for Reservation, Shipping)?

There is a requirement from the customer for setting up a separate sub-inventory for each sales order and also that the shipping for the particular sales order be done from the sub-inventory meant for that particular sales order.

Currently, the customer's system is set up in such a way that all the item reservations against sales orders and shipping of sales orders is done from only one sub-inventory which is called the MAIN sub-inventory. There are 4 BUs set up in the system and there is one inventory organization for each BU and for the sales orders of each of the 4 BUs, item reservation and shipping is being done from the MAIN sub-inventory only (this sub-inventory exists in each of the 4 inventory orgs and its purpose is the same in each one of them, ie, item
