How can I retain the drill down selection from the previous run in my narrative reporting?

We have a report that requires the user to perform multiple drill-down actions. The user finds it tedious to have to repeat these drill-down steps each time they want to access the report. Is there a way to retain or persistently save the user's previous drill-down selections, so they don't have to repeat the process every time they run the report?
