Picking rule FIFO could be execute it in old transactions before set up date?

Summary:

In our operation, we set up a FIFO picking rule on November 19th, 2024 with below criteria

Priority 1) Locator receipt date ascending
Priority 2) Subinventory receipt date ascending
Priority 3) Lot ascending

In January, we received an incident related to a wrong inventory discount with FIFO rule. After a detailed analysis we validated the rule is working as expected. However, the user is requesting to apply the FIFO rule in a retroactive way to discount the inventory in transactions created before the set up on November 2024. If this possible?

Before this picking rule we had been applying a LIFO rule with the same criteria above, but in a "Descending" way.
