Candidate Request to Delete Profile

Candidate that was not hired has withdrawn their application in Oracle Cloud Recruiting and would like their profile to be deleted.

The candidate would like to have their profile deleted and there are privacy laws covering the candidate. However, for candidates that are not hired, our records retention policies require us to keep their information for a year.

Deleting a profile also deletes all the applications. Is there any way to inactivate a candidate profile so that it is no longer accessible to them and most users, but allows HR/Admins to still view the candidate profile & submissions if needed for a legal case?
