Create Accounting process affecting the load performance(Import Suppliers)

Summary:

We are running Supplier Load process(Import Suppliers) which has taken a lot of time to get completed. When checked it was a background running process (Create Accounting) has affected the load performance. Would like to know if someone had faced this earlier and any possible ways to counter this. Adding that Create Accounting is something that runs by fusion in the background.
