How to bypass approval / be approved automatically for some specific journal batches

Our requirement is

In case of recurring journal, the first journal batch generated from recurring definition need to go through the approval process by manually clicking the Approve button in Journal workbench.

For the subsequent journal batches of the recurring definition, the approval should be done automatically(auto approve) post journal batch creation without the need of users opening the journal batch and click on Approve button.
