How to make the end dated expenses disappear from the list of values.

Summary:

Issue: Expense types that have been end-dated at the template level should not be visible to users when entering expenses.

We created several per diem expense types with a start date of 01/01/2000 and an end date of 05/03/2025 at the expense template level. However, users can still see these expense types when creating an expense item for dates between 01/01/2000 and 05/03/2025. This poses a risk, as users may accidentally select them.

From 06/03/2025 onward, the end-dated expense types are no longer visible when entering expense items. Is there a way to make the end dated expense types disappear from the LOV.
