Customer related document sequences

For the customer related document sequence in the Manage Trading Community Document Sequences setting, we know that the Document sequence is typically cached in memory as a last used value and a high water mark value, it is only when the last used value reaches the high water mark that Oracle writes a change to the database and moves the high water mark. May I know where are those water mark value are using in the system and how to see when the value have reached the high water mark value?
