I think the specifications for receipt returns in Redwood are incorrect.

Summary:

From Redwood, we activated receipt returns and processed from purchase requisition to receipt. However, when attempting to perform a receipt return, an error occurs: "You cannot revise the item because this item is not revision controlled. (INV-2415729)"

The cause seems to be that although the item is not revision controlled, the revision information of the item is inherited in the BPA (Blanket Purchase Agreement) linked to the purchase requisition, resulting in the revision information being included at the purchase order stage.
