Assigning Multiple Balancing Segments to Legal Entity/Ledger

  • Current Setup: 1 Legal Entity, 1 Ledger, 1 Business Unit, 1 Chart of Accounts, 1 Primary Balancing Segment (LE/Company)
  • We assign primary balancing segment to Legal Entity & Ledger
  • Currently when assigning balancing segment to LE & Ledger it only shows/reflect the assigned primary balancing segment (LE/Company), it does not shows the second & third balancing segment for us to assign.

Questions:

  1. If we already assign the primary balancing segment to LE & Ledger, what are the steps to assign the other balancing segment (second & third) to the LE & Ledger? What do we need?
  2. Is it possible to use multiple balancing segments for primary ledger?
  3. Do we need to setup secondary ledger for the other balancing segments? What are the setup impact to this?
