How to Assing user defined packing item to multiple inventory organization??

How to Assing user defined packing item to multiple inventory organization or create similar user defined packing item in different inventory organizations??

Client has requirement to use "user defined packing item MRCH_PALLET_24*24*18 " across multiple inventory organizations.

User case- Business wants to use, user defined packing unit item MRCH_PALLET_24*24*18 created in org 10172, when we are trying to create same packing item under org 10013, we are getting error "A record with the value MRCH_PALLET_24*24*18 already exists. Enter a unique value."

also, if we are trying to assign this packing unit item to another inventory org 10013, there is no option available for org assignment.
