Hi All,

Could someone provide insights on how to implement Segment Value Data Security (SVS) in a BI Publisher Report on the GL budget balance table?

We have a requirement to create a BIP report for GL budget balance, and we are using the GL budget balance table. However, we want to restrict the data based on SVS roles and security. We have implemented the Segment Value Data Security (SVS) logic using Oracle's standard SVS approach, utilizing the code combination ID and chart of accounts ID.

The challenge we are facing is that we cannot find the code combination ID in the GL budget balance table. Additionally, if we go with gl code combination table join with using segment values with the GL code combinations table, some segment values are not present in the GL code combinations table.
