New security group does not see segments

I created a new security group in Eloqua so that the picklist permission only allows querying. However, when I apply it to a user and they view a previously created segment, it doesn't allow them to update the record count or view the contact list. The security group was clearly added to the segment permissions. Do you know what I can do?Sincerely,Andrea G
