Payroll Costs should not be transferred to GL-Do we need to configure the Subledger Accounting rule?

Summary: Payroll Costs should not be transferred to GL. In this scenario, do we still need to configure the Subledger Accounting rule (Manage Account Rules), Manage Subledger Journal Entry Rule Sets, Accounting Methods and Subledger Accounting Options from payroll perspective?

Content (please ensure you mask any confidential information):

We have a requirement to calculate the payroll costs to generate in the payroll costing results report but should not be transferred to General Ledger. We have setup the element link costing details to ensure the 'Transfer to GL' flag is unchecked. As we understand the 'Transfer to GL' flag will only stop the posting to GL when the 'Create Accounting' process is run in Final mode but it will still get Transferred to Subledger when the Transfer to Subledger process is run.

Howdy, Stranger!
