Redwood - Field Modification Rules Not Working through Expressions

Summary:

We have autocomplete rule for field modification defined as below:

In Redwood, we are trying to use expression to have the above rule replicated:

{{ $fields.documentRecords.documentRecordsDFF.micDorResignationDate.$value() + $fields.documentRecords.documentRecordsDFF.micDorResignationDorNoticePeri.$value() }}

But this is not working.. is this supported yet?
