Redwood Position Management Mandatory Comments

We are testing Redwood pages for Position Management in one of our lower pods.

Is there a way to make the comment box/ comment section mandatory on the flows related to positions: edit, correct, request new position and request position change?

Is there a way to unlock the section from business rule or else where and make comment & attachments section mandatory?

We have a strict approval flow and comments are mandatory.
