Can i store data related to other domains like Vessel data

Summary:

We are mastering Organizations in CDM as customers. We have a use case where we want to master Vessel data in CDM and then create relationship between Organizations and the said vessel in CDM. We don't want to create the Vessel data as either Organization or Person as then this data will also show up in AR modules as Accounts or Contacts.

  1. First question is whether we can restrict certain Organizations/persons, lets say with a certain usage from showing up in AR modules
  2. Alternatively can we use Custom Objects to store this data and create a workspace UI for customers to be able to access the data, if yes then how can we relate these records with other Organizations?
